The Piz Bernina with its (4048 m) is the only 4000 metre peak in the Eastern Alps. The Biancograt is probably the most beautiful firn ridge in the Alps. On this dream tour, the Piz Bernina is crossed and also the Piz Palü with all its peaks.
day 1
Individual arrival. Meeting at Pont Resina 1805 m. Together we travel by coach, bike and on foot to the Tschierva hut 2583 m, 778 m ascent approx. 3.5 h
day 2
From the Tschierva hut via the Biancograt to the Piz Bernina and descent via the Spallagrat to the Marco e Rosa hut (3610 m), 1465 metres ascent and 430 metres descent, total time approx. 9.5 hours.
day 3
From the Marco e Rosa hut via the Bella Vista terrace to the west summit (Piz Spinas) to the main summit and then to the east summit of Piz Palü and descent to the Divolezza mountain hut (2973m), 400 metres ascent and 1000 metres descent, total time approx. 7 hours. Afterwards we take the railway down to the valley.
