The Ortler is the highest mountain in South Tyrol at just under 4000 metres! This tour is special because it offers a panoramic view of the entire Alpine region.
day 1
Individual or shared journey from Brixen or Bozen to Drei Brunnen. Ascent to the Berglhütte (2188 m), 600 metres in altitude, approx. 1.5 hours.
day 2
Ascent to the summit 1700 m, approx. 5 hours. Approx. 40° steep terrain is climbed and travelled.
Descent of 2300 m and journey home.

Organisation and guidance by a state-certified mountain guide (IVBV)
Requirements:
- Good skiing level & safe skiing in all snow conditions
- Ski touring experience & mastery of hairpin bends
- Sure-footedness & a head for heights
- Safe walking with crampons
- Handling of emergency equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe)
