Ski tours in the "fairytale land" between Alta Badia and Cortina d'Ampezzo. 

The limestone plateau of the Fanesalm is located between Alta Badia and the Ampezzo Dolomites. Surrounded by a crown of bizarre peaks, they offer something of anything: ski tours in all directions at every level of difficulty and also the odd racy steep descent, a cosy hut with every comfort and, of course, excellent South Tyrolean cuisine.

Day 1
Meeting point in St. Lorenzen in the Pustertal Valley. Together we continue to Pederü, ascent to the Rifugio Fanes (2060 m, approx. 2 hours). Note: luggage can be transported to the Rifugio Fanes. It is therefore advisable to pack any items you do not need for the hut ascent in a separate bag. 500 m ascent approx. 2 h

Day 2
Today's tour destination is the Col Becchei, 2794 m. We take about 2 1/2 to 3 hours for the ascent and then return to the hut via marvellous south-facing slopes.
800 m ascent approx. 4 h

Day 3
Today we take on the Neunerspitze, 2968 m, whose winter summit offers us an impressive view of the circular Fanes plateau. We reach the highest point of the tour in around 3 hours. The descent takes us back the same way. Before the short ascent back to the Fanes hut, we can stop off at the Lavarella hut.

Day 4
Today, beautifully hilly terrain leads us up to Monte Castello, 2912 metres. A longer enjoyable tour over easy, stepped slopes with an ascent of approx. 3 1/2 hours. On the descent, we can choose the most beautiful lines in this wide, open terrain.

Day 5
We end the day with a short tour to the "hut summit" La Stiga, 2786 m, and after the descent we can enjoy a deliciouis strudel (a sort of apple pie) with cappuccino at the hut before heading back down into the valley to Pederü.

The programme can be changed due to avalanche danger or weather conditions.
